Ed spends much of his time making small robots – which you can see on his Instagram feed, but I think that’s more of a hobby. His profession is as a prop maker, and you only have to glance at his portfolio to find out what sort of maker Ed is.

He has worked as a maker and designer for companies such as Beavertown, ITV and Unilever, and bases himself on the South Coast – although not in Worthing. Therefore, Ed is a ‘Beyond’ – but definitely worthy of listing here.

Ed’s work is fun, and he seems like a lovely person. If I were a school, I’d be inviting him in to run a workshop with the kids in art class. Get them all making robots. Isn’t it.
